Lower Camp Creek

This site is on the way up to Seven Springs, north of Scottsdale. I’m hoping we’ll catch resident birds found in the higher desert at about 3,300 feet elevation.  We'll look for lingering migrants (maybe Townsend’s Solitaire and Western Bluebirds), plus early spring arrivals (Lucy’s Warbler and Bell’s Vireo). The habitat varies from desert to the lovely shaded creek bottom, offering a chance at different species. We’ll start about 5:30am from Scottsdale and wrap up back in Scottsdale by 11ish.   Logistics to be decided a few days before the trip.

Start: 5:30 a.m.

Limit: 7

Restrictiions: All participants must be vaccinated against Covid-19.

Difficulty: 2.5 (uphill climb out from the creek for about 1/3 mile).
