Join us for a chance to see four species of thrashers on the State Trust Land proposed for a solar farm. LeConte’s and Bendire’s Thrashers breed on this site, and Sage and Crissal Thrashers may be seen as well. We will crisscross the desert in an area where Maricopa Audubon surveyed Thrasher populations during 2021 and 2022. Loggerhead Shrikes and Sagebrush Sparrows were also observed in the area during our surveys. Dress warmly and bring water.
