Desert Breeze Park in Chandler contains a lake, a "hummingbird habitat" garden with a fountain and benches, and plenty of other ground to cover in between. We should see common urban Phoenix birds, but it's migration season, so anything is possible (rarities found in the past have included Pine Warbler, American Redstart, and Yellow-bellied Sapsucker). As the trip title suggests, children are welcome, but all are invited to attend. Meeting place and final details will be emailed to participants shortly before the trip.
Limit: 15
Difficulty: 1 (almost all birding should be done from flat, paved paths)
Leaders: Torin and Danelle Waters
