A return to these ponds will reveal wintering waterfowl and shorebirds, along with passerines and raptors. Plan to bird the ponds for almost two hours. There are other good spots to bird nearby if you want to stay in the area longer. If you have one, bring a spotting scope along with your binoculars.  Trip date may change by a week, to be set by January 10.
