Explore part of Agua Fria National Monument, 40 miles north of Phoenix. The Monument features many canyons with riparian vegetation which, in summer, bring nesting Yellow-billed Cuckoos. We will visit surrounding plateaus and hillsides for wintering sparrows and other birds of the grasslands. We will meet around 6:30 AM at a central Phoenix location and carpool to the Monument, arriving about 8:00 AM
